Twenty-two years have gone since Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone were released in theaters. 1. Daniel Radcliffe – The Harry Potter Actor
Being the lead character of the series, Daniel Radcliffe got famous for his first film itself. However, after the movie series came to an end, Radcliffe was already a successful actor. He then tried to act in different genres, including rom-coms, horror, drama, and biopics, where he experimented on various movies.

Rupert Grint played the best friend of Harry Potter and gave comic relief to the films as well. Although he was shown as a somewhat casual character, in the original book, he wasn’t so that way. However, after Harry Potter, he starred in Into the White (2012), CBGB (2013), and Moonwalkers (2015). Apart from that, Grint also gave some good performances on the stage and on a few TV series.
4. Tom Felton – Draco Malfoy

From the next film onwards, Sir Michael Gambon played the role of Dumbledore. After the movies, he continued stage acting. However, in 2015, he left the stage and continued on-screen acting in various supporting roles.
6. Robbie Coltrane – Rubeus Hagrid
He was the most-loved character in the Harry Potter franchise. After the series, he did voice-acting on various occasions. In 2012, he starred in Great Expectations. As per Entertainment Weekly, “He was seen on the big screen in the 2014 film Effie Gray and starred on the British TV series National Treasure in 2016 and Urban Myths in 2020. Coltrane died in 2022 at the age of 72.” However, he passed away in 2022.
7. Maggie Smith – Minerva McGonagall
Dame Maggie Smith was already a notable actor in the industry, and she did her job with full perfection by bringing the no-nonsense role of McGonagall to life. After the series, she starred in various other movies and continued her iconic run with Downtown Abbey and other movies.
8. Alan Rickman – Severus Snape

This is one of the best moments of the Harry Potter series that brought tears to the eyes of the fans. Only Alan Rickman could do justice to the role of Severus Snape. He was already a famous actor before the movie, and the Harry Potter series added to his glory. 9. Ralph Fiennes – Lord Voldemort
Ralph Fiennes was already a legendary actor before he came to play the role of the ultimate antagonist in the Harry Potter series, Lord Voldemort. He also received various Oscar and Golden Globe nominations throughout his career. He also played the role of M in the later James Bond movies.
10. Mark Williams – Arthur Weasley
The supportive and loving father of Ron Weasley, his brothers, and his sister, Arthur Weasley, played by Mark Williams, was also an important character in the movie. He also plays the role of Father Brown in the costume drama of the same name. He also played various other supporting roles in films later.
